A shout out to the fine folks at Life is good®, who neither know me nor have sponsored this post. Wouldn’t that be cool, if they did? They have the most comfy t-shirts…but I’ve digressed…

Remember way back when, back in 2003-2005 and 2006 when Natalie was literally fighting for her life? Back when we were just trying to get through each day? Remember when she was in the PICU and on a vent for 23 days and we didn’t know if we were even going to be bringing her home because they couldn’t close the surgical wound? Remember when she almost bled to death on February 14, 2005? Remember her "tubey"? **

Moments like those have helped us to appreciate the most mundane.

Yesterday I registered her for second grade for next year.

Repeat after me – Life is good!

God is good.

Everyday.
