We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

Aunt Amy hosted Thanksgiving this year for us. She is a WONDERFUL cook!!! (And Brian's turkeys weren't too bad either!

So here is the latest on the Pat testing saga:

On Monday I found out that Northwestern was expressing some doubts about Pat being a donor. This is due to an artery running through the section of the liver that Children's Memorial wants to use.

I called Children's and our surgeon still thinks that he is a good match and that we'd just use a different section (the entire left lobe). This is commonly done. However, we will need to do a CT scan of Natalie's liver to determine if she has enough room to hold the section Pat would be giving her.

We have an appointment on Tuesday (Nov. 30) for the scan at 11:30 am and then have a clinic appointment at 3:30pm. We hope that by the time we get to the clinic, we'll have some answers.
