Natalie is finally starting to resemble her former "non-sick" self. Last night she played peek-a-boo with us.
She covered her own head and kept it covered until we said, "Where's Natalie?" It was so very cute.
They are talking about maybe letting us go home tomorrow or Tuesday. Dr. Alonzo said that a transplant could be within the next 7 to 10 days, provided that Natalie's uncle Pat is a match. It would be nice to go home, if only for a few days.
Because who knows how long we will be in the hospital after the transplant.
If we go home it will be with 4 different IV medications and the feeding tube. But Jason and I feel that we can handle it. I'm nervous about having to place the NG tube down her, but I know that once I learn I can handle that too.
