“Before shutting it off…” were the words my superhero techy guy used.

Sigh.
And tear.
My eyes are welled up with tears.
The original nataliebear.com is coming to an end. The server on which it lives is going to be shut off. I feel like that part at the end of the terminator movie, the second one. You know the part I mean? Where the “terminator” AKA Arnold, shuts off after sinking into the molten goo. (What is it molten metal?)
Anyway… I’m not so much sad about a piece of metal or the components inside. I am sad that that the original site is no more. Tris, my superhero techy guy, and his beloved Gerilyn gave us so much in the creation of the original site. They gave us their time working on it. They gave us their enthusiasm towards my dream and vision. They acted quickly when things (or unwanted visitors) happened. They supported us and the site 100% for the last almost 6 years – it launched just a few months following the transplant.
We are forever grateful for their friendship. Forever and ever. Amen.
Note about the new site:
We are in the process of copying all of the old journal entries from there to here – you will find them on the Archived Journal page. For me, going back and reliving some of those days as we walked through the valley of the shadow of death, is part of my own healing process. I get to reflect and be full of God’s grace. And I get to remember that I live with a walking, talking miracle each and every day.
